I had a thought the other day, linked to the theme of my blog yesterday. That if time is a mad-made construct and there is no time outside of earth…then, how can there be any such thing as divine timing? Which got me wondering about time generally with regard to the universe and spirit.
I am not scientist and so the space-time continuum means nothing to me. I have tried to understand it and it’s like a collection of words put together to confuse me. So, there will be no scientific ramblings in this.
Diving timing. I’ve heard this phrase so many times. Probably said it myself a few times. It’s one of the most frustrating phrases you can hear when you’re desperately trying to figure out how your life is going to improve and when. All in divine timing. What does that even mean? It conjures up images of spirit deciding when is a good time for something to happen to you. And I don’t believe that’s what they do. I don’t think that’s how they work.
No, divine timing is your own timing. It is, frankly, the time it takes for you to ask for something that you truly want and when you really believe it’s going to happen. So, if you truly believe that the job you want is coming imminently and it’s yours then bam! it’s there. If you don’t have that belief, however, divine timing steps in. The time between wanting something and believing it is yours. It’s the old adage. Ask, believe, receive. There’s nothing divine about it. It’s all down to you.
This also led me to think about the times when people have asked me in a reading ‘when is it going to happen’ and I never ask my spirit team that question. Because unless they want to tell me, I know my spirit team saying ‘January’ doesn’t necessarily mean the January closest to now. It could mean January in a couple of years time. And because time doesn’t exist where they are, it doesn’t matter. Because they don’t know when you are going to believe strongly enough to bring it to you. It could be tomorrow, it could be never. It’s an unknown quantity.
The issue is when you talk about divine timing or ask spirit when something is going to happen, it betrays your lack of belief. If you’re unsure whether you believe or not, ask yourself the question. How desperate are you? How much are you hanging on to a desired timeline? Because if one or both of those things are happening, you don’t believe that what you have asked for is going to come. You are expecting an external force to do something only you can do. Only you can raise your levels of belief to that strong enough to override the programme your subconscious is running and for your RAS to be led by your soul’s beliefs.
In fact, if you are having to deliberately manifest there is a lack of belief inside you already. Do you think that the people who have the successful businesses deliberately manifest? Or do they just believe in themselves enough to go out and do it. Do you think athletes deliberately manifest? Or do they believe in themselves enough to do it. Do you think someone, say, running a marathon is more successful if they just believe they can do it over someone who is deliberately manifesting a successful run? Think about it.
Yes, we create our own reality. And it is a reality based on belief. I would love to live in a stately home but I have a belief system currently that says ‘someone like me’ never will. Anyone who is successful has self-belief first and foremost. And that is what needs to be cultivated.
